The closest airport to Braga and Guimarães is Sá Carneiro International Airport (in Porto), which is around 50 km from both cities.

Tickets can be purchased at the airport or online at Getbus . A return ticket costs €14 .

Bus lines 601 and 604 take you directly from the airport to the center of Porto (every 20 minutes). A one-way ticket costs around €1.45 .
You can also opt for the Metro . Line e (violet) connects the airport to one of the train stations in Porto (Campanhã) and/or to the Trindade bus station. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes and costs €1.45 .
From the center of Porto there are a large number of possibilities to get to Braga .
Bus: direct connections to Braga are available in the city center every 30 minutes/1 hour, on Rua Alfredo Magalhães..
Train: from the center of Porto, students can take the train to Braga (São Bento or Campanhã stations) at all hours. The journey takes approximately 1 hour.
Arriving in Braga, it is best to take a taxi to the University Residence (if you have a reservation there).
From the train station or bus station, the journey costs around €5.00.
